Francis S. Savari is an accomplished veteran and a thought leader with 30 years of professional experience in the (re) insurance industry. 

His career commenced with Marsh Management Services in Captive Management & Risk Financing, being responsible for a portfolio of MNC captives domiciled in APAC. Francis Savari subsequently joined Munich Re in 1996 and spent 21 years at Munich Re in the key functions of Underwriting, Marketing, Regional Client Management in Southeast Asia and assumed various leadership roles as he ascended the hierarchy to Senior Management. In 2017, he joined Partner Re Asia as Head of Business Development APAC up till 2020. He was subsequently appointed as Deputy CEO at Singapore Re (originally listed in the main board of the Singapore Stock Exchange and currently a wholly owned subsidiary of Fairfax Group) in September 2020 and stayed with the organization till December 2021.

Francis Savari is equipped with profound reinsurance technical expertise and regional market knowledge. Through close dealings with clients and other trading partners, he has acquired a solid understanding of the principles and best practices of the insurance and reinsurance business. He possesses exceptional client intimacy and has developed an extensive network in Asia. He has a proven track record as a successful reinsurance practitioner.
